| The 4 th Asian Juniors Badminton Championships
2000 will be held from the 21st to 27 th July 2000 at Nagaokakyo(Kyoto),Japan. The Championship will be co-hosted by the Nippon Badminton Association. |

| [1] | The championship will be held for both Team and Individual Events:- | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| 1.1 | The Team Events (21 st to 23 rd July) will
be for Boys Team and Girls Team(Similar to the Thomas and Uber Cups format) and would consist of 3 Singles and 2Doubles, Each Team can register a minimum of 4 players and a maximum of 10 players. |

| 1.2 | The lndividual Events (23rd to 27 th July)
will be for Boys Singles, Girls Singles,Boys Doubles, Girls Doubles and Mixed Doubles. Each Member Association will be entitled to enter for the Individual Events as follows:- |

| The host country will be allowed to enter
twice the above number of entries for each Individual Event. |

| [2] | The age limit for participations will be
under 19 years old by 1 st January 2000. There will be a Bonus Pool competition for the first time loosers of the preliminary rounds of Boys and Girls Singles Events. All entries must be in accordance with the respective National Ranking. |

| [4] | A Committee of Management comprising of the
Asian Badminton Confederation's officiaIs, Nippon Badminton Association officials and the Championship Referee, will be formed to ensure the smooth running of the Championship. |

| The rate for a single/twin room - \ 4,000 per person per night with breakfast. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
| [6] | The Confederation will assist all participating
teams with some subsidies to cover part of the airfares. Food and accommodation will also be provide for 6 persons for each participating country playing in the Team and Individual Events for a maximum of 8 days. For those participating in Individual Events only, for a maximum of 6 days. Participating countries may send more players and officials at their own expenses. |

| [7] | The Team and Individual Events will be played
using the revised Rules and Laws by the International Badminton Federation. (IBF) |

| [8] | Drug test Dopine test will be carried out. |

| [9] | The Umpires Accreditation Course The Confederation will also be holding the Umpires Accreditation Course from the 20 th July(Theory) and 21 st to 27 th July 2000(Practical). All Member Association are welcomed to Submit one candidate for the Course. All submissions must be received by the Secretariat latest by the 16 th June 2000. The Confederation will pay for his/her food and accommodation for a maximum of 9 days. Airfare will have to be borne by the respective Association. |
